Finding Funding
Every sports club we spoke to tell us the same story, they could do with more funding. The cost of facility hire or maintenance, competition costs, training of coaches and officials, new equipment and kit drain club funds.
On this page we intend to provide clubs with a list of possible funders, local and national, funding for specific projects and for specific sports and for development in general. We will also be providing guidance and advice on how to apply for funding.
There are plenty of grants available which can potentially support your club. Whether yours is a small sports club or a larger entity, there are two steps, the first is to find the funding and then applying for the grants that suit your needs.
The Forum’s role will be to help with both, supporting you to find the right fund and then making sure your application meets the funders criteria.
